Start with a review package
Open Assistant connections in Scriber, choose a story and review method, and preview the exact text you will share. Copy the package into ChatGPT or Claude. This works without a direct connector, API key, or API credit. Your assistant’s normal account limits apply.
Connect one story directly
Direct connections are enabled. Public directory listings are still being prepared; account support for custom connectors varies.
- In your assistant’s connector settings, add a custom remote connection if your account supports it.
- Use this server address:
https://www.scriber.studio/mcp. - Sign in to Scriber and choose one story on the consent screen.
- Ask: “Read my connected story and help me choose the most useful next revision. Quote the passages you refer to.”
What your assistant can do
Read the chosen manuscript and writing brief; consult confirmed story-bible facts; search passages; calculate prose statistics; and apply Reader reaction, Big-picture critique, Voice & patterns, Pacing, Continuity, Character & story arcs, or Audience & positioning.
The connection cannot edit your manuscript or start paid Scriber generation. Ask the assistant to state what it read and separate observations from suggestions. A full-book review must read every passage. Feedback from your assistant stays in that conversation until you copy it back.
You control access
Access lasts up to 30 days. Revoke it anytime in Scriber’s Assistant connections page. Revocation stops new reads, but does not erase text already shared. See Privacy and Support.
