Your writing stays yours

You retain your rights to the manuscripts and other content you bring to Scriber. You give us permission to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to provide the features you request. You must have permission to upload and use the material you provide, including text, images, voices, and personal information.

Accounts and acceptable use

Use an email address you control and keep sign-in codes and connected-service credentials private. Do not attempt to access another person’s writing, bypass access controls or usage limits, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully. We may restrict access when needed to address abuse or protect other users.

Reviews and generated content

Automated feedback can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. Treat it as editorial input and check quotes, continuity claims, factual statements, market claims, and generated material before relying on or publishing them. Scriber does not guarantee publication, commercial success, originality of generated output, or any particular editorial outcome.

The assistant connection provides read-only manuscript tools and Scriber’s custom review methods. Your ChatGPT or Claude account supplies the assistant’s reasoning. Those reviews are not automatically saved or independently validated by Scriber.

Third-party services and costs

Connected providers have their own terms, account requirements, limits, and charges. A ChatGPT or Claude subscription does not include API credit for Scriber’s separate generation features. You authorize use of a connected provider when you request a feature that uses it. Review the selected provider and any estimated costs; estimates are not billing guarantees. Shared free access, when offered, may be limited or unavailable.

Availability and leaving Scriber

Features may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. Keep exports of important work. You can stop using Scriber, disconnect providers, and request account deletion through contact@scriber.studio. See the privacy notice for how retained data and third-party copies are handled.

These terms do not remove rights you have under applicable consumer or data-protection law. If we materially change these terms, we will update the date and publish the revised terms here. Contact contact@scriber.studio with questions.
